Educator

As an Educator, I value creating a studio space where everyone feels welcome. Each dancer’s voice matters and they deserve to feel supported. I prioritize reminding my students that they can learn something from everyone in a room, not just a teacher or themselves.

With a background in various techniques of modern, ballet, contemporary, jazz, and choreography, In education, I strive to teach not just the how, but also the why and origin of different techniques.

Adult and Advanced Classes

Working with adults—whether they are beginners or pre-professional dancers—is a part of my teaching career that I value deeply. Guiding adult students through their dance journey, helping them build confidence, refine technique, and connect with movement, is incredibly fulfilling and continues to inspire me as an educator.

In terms of injury prevention and self care, I emphasize the importance of how dance fits into you, not how you fit into dance.

I prioritize creating a love for dance in each exercise, focusing on strengths and how to improve rather than a negative dialogue about weakness and inability to change.

No matter how much natural ability, no matter what you may look like, dance is your own. It is important to me to be a mentor to other dancers, helping them unlock their potential and supporting them in their dreams.

Studio Classes and Choreography (K-12)

Another important aspect of my teaching is my work with studio classes and choreography. Through these classes, I strive to foster safe social connections, nurture a genuine love of movement, and instill in every student the belief that they are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.

Whether Competitive or Recreational, every student deserves a chance to learn, grow, and enjoy dancing.
